Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations, Ltd. (Universal Orlando) is implementing changes in the way we do business with our valued partners to allow you the opportunity to receive payments even faster while using less administrative resources. Universal Orlando is now offering the option to receive electronic payments via Automated Clearing House (ACH). This is a free service we are offering for United States and Canada Travel Agent partners to eliminate any delay you may experience from receiving paper checks. In addition, Universal Orlando has enhanced functionality to improve the final payment process for packages booked via credit card with an Auto-Payment Plan. This functionality provides you the opportunity to schedule the final payment to be automatically charged to the credit card on file for your clients. Both these enhancements will ensure that doing business with Universal Orlando is simple and helps you exceed the expectations of your clients while saving you time and other resources.

Electronic Payment Option

We strongly encourage you to sign up for our new Automated Clearing House (ACH) option, which will allow us to submit payments directly into your designated United States and Canada based bank account (U.S. and Canada Travel Agents). Doing so will avoid the additional time and administrative costs of dealing with paper checks and may increase liquidity by improving cash flows and creating more predictable payment streams. Each reservation will be given a designated invoice number with one or more invoice numbers assigned to a payment. Upon being processed in our accounting system, a verification e-mail will be sent followed by payment to your designated bank account 1-2 business days later. Registration Instructions

To register for ACH please fill out and return both the ACH form and W-9 form, with a copy of a voided check, via fax to our Accounts Payable office.

Automatic-Payment Plan (Auto-Pay)

In order to save you time and administrative resources, Universal Orlando has implemented Auto-Pay. When you place a booking with Universal Orlando through Vacation Access (VAX) with a credit card and full payment is not collected, a prompt will appear to “Schedule your Automatic Final Payment”. The final payment balance will appear along with a calendar for you to select the date final payment will be charged. Pursuant to Universal Orlando terms and conditions, you will select a date 45 days or more prior to travel. Please review with your clients as you will be prompted to agree with the terms and conditions. This feature goes into effect July 20, 2011 and will enable you to easily manage client expectations while saving you time with having to track down clients to receive final payment.
